Tidewater is a planned development of fifty homes that began construction in the fall of 2005. A milestone was reached in the spring of 2013 when the construction phase was largely completed. It is unique in its proximity to water views, hiking trails and 25 acres of land placed permanently in conservation, yet within walking distance of multiple services and with quick and easy access to downtown Portland as well as Rte. 295 north and south. In 2010 the developer handed over responsibility to the Tidewater Homeowners Association to manage the development including the two neighborhood roads, Marigold and Heron Point. The process of handing over responsibility for Farm Gate Road to the Town of Falmouth is virtually complete.
The Association is governed by a Board of Directors normally elected at the Annual Meeting in September. Any homeowner is welcome to attend Board meetings. The dates for upcoming meetings, minutes of Board discussion and financial statements are distributed to all homeowners. The Association has contracted with Phoenix Management to manage the finances and operations of Tidewater.
